Crispy Chilli Beef
The best crispy chilli beef recipe, this one has been one of my most made recipes and for good reason.

Ingredients
- 300 g thin cut sirloin
- 2 tbsps corn flour
- 1 tbsp chinese five spice
- 1 large red pepper sliced
- 1 bunch of spring onion sliced
- 1 handful of bean sprouts
- 2 tsp Ginger paste
- 2 tsp Garlic paste
- 1 red chilli sliced
For the sauce:
- 3 tbsps Rice wine vinegar
- 2 tbsp Soy sauce
- 2 tbsps Tomato ketchup
- 2 tbsps Sweet chilli sauce
Instructions
- Cut the sirloin into thin strips. Place in a bowl and then add the corn flour and Chinese five spice. Mix to completely coat the beef.
- Heat a good amount of cooking oil in a frying pan or a wok, add the beef and fry over a high heat until it’s really crispy.
- Take out the beef and place it onto kitchen paper to soak up any excess oil.
- In a clean pan, stir fry the red pepper, sliced chilli, spring onions, beansprouts, garlic and ginger for 2-3 minutes.
- Pour in the sauce ingredients and bring it to the boil, cook for 2 minutes until it looks sticky.
- Add the beef back into the pan and coat in the sticky sauce.
- Serve the crispy chilli beef with rice or noodles and finish by sprinkling over some sliced spring onions and chilli.

This is by far the best recipe. I WILL NEVER buy from a Chinese again. Brilliant and easy to make . The only expense is the sirloin but it’s worth every penny. Will make again soon.
My other half was inspired to cook this after looking through the cook book. The dish was fantastic, we both really enjoyed the meal. It’s even inspired my partner to try more of your recipes, which I can’t wait for. This will become a favourite here. Fab!
