Prep Time: 30 minutes
Setting time:: 2 hours
Total Time: 2 hours 30 minutes
Servings: 16

Ingredients

  • 160 g Golden syrup
  • 130 g Butter
  • 200 g Milk chocolate
  • 200 g Dark chocolate 70%
  • 150 g Digestive biscuits
  • 100 g Raisins
  • 150 g Cadbury's Crunchie
For the topping:
  • 300 g Milk chocolate
  • 150 g Cadbury's Crunchie

Instructions

  • Line a baking tin with baking paper.
  • Chop the milk and dark chocolate into small chunks. Break up the digestive biscuits and chop the Cadbury's Crunchie into chunks.
  • Place the golden syrup and the butter into a saucepan, cook over a low heat until the butter is completely melted. Don't boil it.
  • Add the chopped chocolate into the melted butter and golden syrup, mix well until the chocolate has all melted and the mixture is well combined.
  • Place the digestives, raisins and chopped crunchie pieces into a large mixing bowl, add the melted chocolate mixture and mix well.
  • Place the mix into the baking tin and press down into the edges.
  • Set it aside whilst you prepare the topping. Melt the milk chocolate in a heat proof bowl over a pan of simmering water.
  • Once melted, pour it over the tiffin and spread it into the edges.
  • Scatter the remaining Cadbury's Crunchie pieces over the top, then place it into the fridge for a few hours until it has set.
  • Cut it into portions and it is ready to serve. Enjoy!
