Easy Mint Chocolate Truffles

These mint chocolate truffles are super easy to make. They make a delicious treat as well as being a great gift idea for Christmas.

Ingredients

  • 300 g Mint chocolate I used Green & Blacks
  • 200 ml Double cream
  • 50 g Butter
Optional coatings:
  • Chopped pistachios
  • Chopped Hazelnuts
  • Chopped Cadbury’s Flake

Instructions

  • Chop the chocolate into small pieces and place into a mixing bowl.
  • Add the double cream into a saucepan and add the butter. Bring it almost to the boil.
  • Pour the hot cream into the chocolate and mix it well until you have a thick glossy ganache.
  • Pour the chocolate mixture into a flat dish and place it into the fridge for an hour.
  • Roll out the truffles (making sure you have cold hands helps) and coat them in your chosen toppings.
  • Refrigerate the truffles until you’re ready to eat them.

    Not a comment just a question. I’m going to make the Easy Mint choc Truffles for Christmas and want to make quite a few, will they freeze ok as I want to do them before Christmas.
