Servings: 12
Ingredients
- 100 g Butter
- 50 g Granulated sugar
- 120 g Soft brown sugar
- 1 Medium sized egg
- 1 tsp Vanilla bean paste
- 250 g Plain flour
- 1 tsp Bicarbonate of soda
- 1 tbsp Cornflour
- 120 g Kinder Bueno
- 300 g Kinder chocolate
Decorative drizzle:
- 100 g Milk chocolate
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 160℃ grease and line a baking tin with baking paper. I used a 20 cm square tin.
- Combine the flour, cornflour and bicarbonate of soda together.
- Melt the butter in a saucepan over a medium heat.
- Take the butter off the heat then add the granulated sugar and the soft brown sugar. Use a whisk to beat it for 2-3 minutes.
- Add the egg and vanilla bean paste, whisk until it is combined.
- Now add the dry ingredients (flour, cornflour + bicarbonate)
- Break up the kinder bueno bars and add those now too, mix together until a cookie dough has formed.
- Add the kinder chocolate and mix until it is well combined.
- Spoon the mixture into the baking tin and press it down into the edges.
- Bake it for 20-22 minutes until it is golden brown on top with a fairly soft middle.
- Leave it to cool in the tin.
- Melt the milk chocolate in a heatproof bowl over a pan of simmering water. Drizzle it over the cookie bar.
- Once it is completely cooled, cut it into portions and it is ready to eat. It makes 12 large portions or 16 smaller ones.

Make this all the time – the kinder is interchangeable with whatever choc you like/have in the cupboards. Super simple and always a winner!!
