Preheat the oven to 160℃ grease and line a baking tin with baking paper. I used a 20 cm square tin.
Combine the flour, cornflour and bicarbonate of soda together.
Melt the butter in a saucepan over a medium heat.
Take the butter off the heat then add the granulated sugar and the soft brown sugar. Use a whisk to beat it for 2-3 minutes.
Add the egg and vanilla bean paste, whisk until it is combined.
Now add the dry ingredients (flour, cornflour + bicarbonate)
Break up the kinder bueno bars and add those now too, mix together until a cookie dough has formed.
Add the kinder chocolate and mix until it is well combined.
Spoon the mixture into the baking tin and press it down into the edges.
Bake it for 20-22 minutes until it is golden brown on top with a fairly soft middle.
Leave it to cool in the tin.
Melt the milk chocolate in a heatproof bowl over a pan of simmering water. Drizzle it over the cookie bar.
Once it is completely cooled, cut it into portions and it is ready to eat. It makes 12 large portions or 16 smaller ones.
