Baked Honey Mustard Chicken

Jazz up your weeknight meals with this easy to make honey mustard chicken dish. Serve it with potatoes or rice.

Ingredients

  • 4 Chicken breasts
  • ½ tsp Salt
  • ½ tsp Black pepper
  • ½ tsp Garlic granules
  • ½ tsp Paprika
  • ½ tsp Oregano
For the sauce:
  • 4 tbsp Honey
  • 2 tbsp Wholegrain mustard
  • 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 150 ml Chicken stock
  • 2 tsp Cornflour
Optional garnish:
  • 5 g Parsley chopped

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 200C fan.
  • Add the chicken breasts into a bowl, then sprinkle in the salt, pepper, garlic granules, paprika, and oregano. Mix the chicken until each piece is nicely coated in the spices.
  • Bake it for 10 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, add the honey, wholegrain mustard, Dijon mustard, chicken stock, and cornflour into a bowl and whisk until smooth.
  • Take the chicken out from the oven and pour the sauce all over each bit of chicken.
  • Bake it for a further 20 minutes.
  • Take it out, spoon some of the sauce over each chicken breast, then leave to stand for a couple of minutes. Sprinkle over some chopped parsley if you’d like.
  • Dish it up with potatoes or rice and enjoy.
