Preheat the oven to 175C Fan. Line two large baking trays with baking paper.
In a large mixing bowl, add the soft brown sugar, granulated sugar, and cocoa powder. Use a whisk to mix it together.
Pour in the melted butter and beat for a couple of minutes.
Add in the eggs and vanilla extract and beat it for a couple more minutes, until it’s well combined.
Sift in the flour and baking powder, then fold it through until you have a fudgy brownie texture.
Chuck in the chocolate chips and fold them through.
Use two spoons or an ice cream scoop to scoop out equal sized portions of the dough. Lay them out on the lined baking trays leaving a bit of space between each one.
Use your hands, or the back of a spoon to flatten them slightly.
Bake them for ten minutes, they will look slightly underbaked, but this is how they are supposed to look.
Leave them to cool for ten minutes on the tray before transferring to a cooling rack to cool completely.
