Ingredients
- 400 g Minced beef
- 1 Small head of broccoli cut into small florets
- 4 Cloves of garlic chopped
- 1 Red chilli chopped
- 2 tbsp Soy sauce
- 2 tbsp Mirin
- 4 tbsp Sriracha
- 2 tbsp Honey
- 100 g Spring onions sliced
To garnish:
- Sesame seeds
- Spring onions
- Red chilli
Instructions
- Heat some oil in a large frying pan or a wok over a medium to high heat. Add the minced beef, use a wooden spoon or a spatula to break it up into small pieces and cook until it’s browned all over.
- Chuck in the broccoli, garlic, and chilli. Stir fry for 1 minute.
- Now add in the soy sauce, mirin, sriracha, and honey. Keep cooking, stirring often until it starts to caramelise. This should take about 5 minutes. If you want to make it a little saucy then add a splash of water.
- Add in most of the spring onions but leave some for garnish. Stir it through then take it off the heat.
- Dish it up with rice, then sprinkle over some sesame seeds, spring onions and some sliced red chilli.

This is my go-to recipe when I want a quick stir-fry. I’ve subbed other ground meats and it always comes out delicious!
Made this a couple of times now and its always a hit. Very tasty, right amount of heat, quick and easy to make.
Made with Quorn mince and it was still amazing and super quick to make after work! Thank you!
